STUDY 15: PERSONAL WITNESS
When we become a child of God,
through faith in Jesus Christ, we become responsible to tell others about
Christ. Someone has said that John 3:16 is the gospel in a “nutshell.”
Memorize the verse and be prepared to share your faith with others.
1. Circle keywords or phrases
in the following Scriptures.
Come, follow me," Jesus said,
"and I will make you fishers of men." Matthew 4:19 (NIV)
In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good
deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16 (NIV)
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an
answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.
But do this with
gentleness and respect, 1 Peter 3:15 (NIV)
For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard." They replied,
"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved-- you and your household.".
Acts 4:20; 16:31
(NIV)
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my
witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the
earth." Acts 1:8 (NIV)
We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal
through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 2
