STUDY 12: SACRAMENTS
Jesus instituted Baptism and
the Lord's Supper as lasting practices for His followers. Baptism is the
initiation rite into the church, into a relationship with Christ and into the
power of the Holy Spirit. The Lord's Supper is a meal of love and remembrance.
In it we have fellowship with Christ and fellowship with one another. In a
simple meal of bread
and juice we are fed spiritually.
