The Holy Spirit points us to Jesus.  He makes us children of God and gives us the character of Jesus.  It is important to know how the Spirit works in our lives so we can stay in touch with what God is doing in us and through us.

1.  Circle the keywords or phrases in the following Scriptures.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22,23

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. Romans 8:26

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:26

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.  

Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. Romans 8:16,17

When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: John 16:8
